This looks just like the photo and the color is NOT the same. This is more like mauve and not pink. The material is very soft and comfortable.

I would say it only looks thick, but it's more of a thin to medium thickness 'fleece', the waistband looks thick while the rest is thinner. It's great for the colder spring and fall days when the seasons are transitioning. I got a large thinking it might be too small, but I could have gone with my usual medium! Get your usual size. The color is more cool toned purple than dusty pink which I like even better. I hate when they lie though so I took stars off. It's not embroidered, the letters are just printed on and look like they're already coming off.
