100% cotton. I got a size bigger than my usual in case it shrinks after washing. It fits a bit loose now but I'm sure there will be some shrinkage after the wash since it's cotton. Sturdy fabric. Getting a size bigger also means the length is longer, which is what I want. My measurements are accurate and you can use them as a guide. There is 0 stretch on these shorts.
