When I first arrived in Istanbul, I expected snow, but there was none. So I turned it into an adventure and took a bus to Bursa. As we drove, the views changed from city to mountaand soon everything was completely white. It was my first time seeing real snow, so I played with it, threw snowballs, and enjoyed every moment.
As for Istanbul, the city’s mix of history, energy, and beauty was unforgettable. Surprisingly, I loved the rain most — it made the streets shine, the air fresh, and walking with an umbrella and warm tea felt like a movie scene.
Now for the food.
Turkish breakfast was amazing — fresh bread, cheeses, olives, honey, eggs, and jams. Every morning felt like a celebration, and it made me expect great things for lunch and dinner.
But honestly, lunch and dinner didn’t live up to it. The food was sometimes bland, sometimes too heavy, and often just confusing. I tried different places and cities, but breakfast was always the star of the trip.
